Are you sure that it is even overheating and not just a loose ground in back of gauge cluster?

I just checked for water and oil mixture, couldnt find a sign of it. So definitely not the headgasket. I will check for loose wires or bad grounds tonight.

If you are paying a shop to change your coolant, water pump & timing belt why haven't they diagnosed your overheating issue ?

Well my water pump was shot and i had all the parts, my mechanic was in the hospital due to his pregnant wife going into labor. Lol so it was a last minute thing taking it to a shop and i specifically asked them to do that.

I called them today, they want me to bring it but i wont be available till Monday. I wanted to try to diagnose it myself and here on r3v. Lol

Oh damn. So it only ran warm at slows driving speeds , traffic or sitting at lights not while driving at normal speed correct
