E30 Oil Cooler and lines fitment

I just did an oil filter housing and lines swap out, only to find that the lines I had swapped from another car (with a Setrab oil cooler), which went on without too much trouble, leaked all over the place as soon as I turned the engine over.

I'm pretty sure the lines are Setrab as well, but I didn't know that the lines weren't the same pitch and space in the threads.

Any advice on what direction to take it?

You did remember there are o-rings on the lines, I guess.

I did, tried teflon tape, and new o-rings to no avail. Looks like the interior of the aftermarket fittings aren't getting good seals. ugh.

Fixed; welded the leaking elbows to the oil cooler. No issues :)
