    325i + eta crank = 2.7i??

so my question is can i just take the eta crank and eta rods and "i " pistons that i have and slap them into my "i" block using the "i" top end and end up with a boost friendly 2.7i?? or do i need to use the complete eta pistons ?
    (which i have)

for the love of god use the search function. no this will not work unless you are running a lot of PSI on the snail. plus this makes no sense to use shorter rods - you get a less efficient motor. you would get more power out of booting a straight m20b25.
    Much wow

yeah ... ive tried the search function for awhile now and all i find is people putting "i" heads on eta's , i just want to know if i can turn my 325I into a 327i with the "i" block basically,

physically im pretty sure it is possible. the piston will be a couple mm down the hole (3mm longer throw - 5mm shorter rod = -2mm) though it will whoop the already low compression. not recommended.

if you are looking for off boost response then lowering the compression and addding cubic inches is working against each other
