Idle rising 2000+ rpm. Leaking fuel injector.

So, I just replaced the intake manifold gasket. Finished putting everything back together. Now, when i start the car the idle immediately rises to 2000 rpm and up. So, my question is would a leaking injector cause the idle to rise or is that a whole different problem? Thanks.

Is the high idle consistent or does it wander?

Did you fiddle with the TPS on accident?

Not that I see. Are these issues actually related?

Fixed the injector seal and found out the throttle cable was getting stuck. Now I have another problem. My car won't even rev. Just flat spots and the rpms decreases. Any suggestions? Tps?

Found out the throttle body and accelerator were sticking. Sprayed PB blaster and now I'm good. Idle's and runs great now.
