Head torn down, should I replace my rockers?

    Well, I have the parts ready to go. As soon as I hear back from te machine shop that my head is still good I'll bite the bullet. Hopefully I'll have an engine that will run the body into the ground :)
    Getting a 272 regrind might make spending the money on rockers less painful. Anything bigger than that would probably require more valve clearance.

      Keep in mind a regrind tends to remove material from the base circle of the lobe and not the top or bottom. Meaning in this case its very likely that those pockmarks would not go away (depending on how deep they are).

        Update: New cam shaft and rockers installed. Engine running very very nicely :)
