    so im an Idiot

    And i twisted the head of the little radiator drain plug off, i ordered a new one but half of the little plastic screw is stuck in the hole, is there anything special i need to remove it?

      Simple, heat a narrow screwdriver to very hot or thereabouts and push it on to the snub till it makes a good indentation for you to be able to unscrew it.

          yep. just take a flathead, heat it up with a torch, stab it in there and unscrew it.

          also, Mercedes drain plugs fit in E30 radiators. They don't snap off so easily either.

                I dunno. I broke mine off once like 10 years ago. went to the closest "euro" shop, they gave me a drain plug off a Mercedes since they fit the same and they didn't have the BMW part.

                  ok thanks guys

                  the drain plug i got from pelican parts is i guess from like a 540 but apparently all bmws use the same drain plugs
