Could be thermostat. I replace it when doing timing belt/water pump job. And I always test the new one first by placing it in boiling water. Had a brand new one not work a couple years ago. Overheated and blew a head gasket... no fun.

Oh I see, so I can pretty much do the same test with the one it has now just to make sure. I should check my head gasket to then right?

Ok, so something I just found out today was that the hoses going from the water pump to the thermostat housing don't have any pressure when at normal operating temp. Also the one from the thermostat housing to the upper radiator also had no pressure. So is it definitely the thermostat? All the other hoses have pressure so let me know what you guys thing.

When the engine is up to temp, is the radiator hose hot/warm? If not, then definitely a failed t-stat. And yes, you can put it in boiling water to test.

I wouldn't worry about the head gasket just yet.

I think they were just a little warm when I touched it. Oh ok, so when I put it in boiling water the thermostat should open right? Well if I need to change the head gasket then it's all good cause I have an extra one.

So I replaced my radiator and for some reason I let air out of the engine it leaks it from my driver lower fender. Any ideas?

Check all the hoses and connections on the left side of the engine.

I've checked to see if I can pin point the location of the leak but I don't see anything. The only thing I see is that there are two holes on the bottom of the fender closest to the door and that's where it's coming from.

Also, as I was adding coolant and doing all the steps to remove any air in the system my coolant tank started popping inside.

the leak out of fender is your over flow hose, it should be coming from behind the tire so not to cause you to loose traction. On my M3 I rerouted it to a empty oil bottle because putting fluids on the track is a NO-NO
