Trying to replace oil pan and my transmission shield is giving me HELL

Pretty simple stuff. All I want to do is replace my oil pan, but my transmission shield is being an anus. All bolts are out and it won't budge. It seems to be stuck on the top half from the driver's side, and I can pivot it from there, moving the passenger side of the shield up and down freely. I can get my fingers under the shield on the driver's side, the stuck side, but it still seems to be stuck. At first I thought it was stuck because there was too much pressure from front to back between the tranny and the engine, but now it even wiggles forward and back.

I've been wrestling with this thing for the better part of two hours and tried everything I can think of. Is there something I'm missing?

How many bolts did you remove? There are 8 in total.

Yep. All of them have been removed. It's in there, man. I've tried everything I can think of without taking apart everything around it. I'm not trying to make extra work for myself.

Alright, so here come the pictures of my pain. I did the best I could with the close quarters.

Me holding it up, front of the car is towards the left.

Same position as the first, but letting it hang lax. That is how much play there is.

Where it seems to be stuck at. This is with me holding it up. Front towards left of photo.

Same position as previous, but letting it hang lax. That is how much play there is. It's like a door hinge. A retarded door hinge that hates me.

I can even get my fingers up under there. I can't figure out how it's stuck.

Everything I've removed that was a part of this sonofabitch.

if that didn't work, try jacking your engine up a bit, that will give you plenty of clearance to get it out.

I don't recall needing to remove one of the large bellhousing bolts to remove. Perhaps you removed the wrong bolt and there is still one left? If it's pivoting like a hinge, you either have a bolt holding it or it's being held captive on an alignment dowel. Take a step back, go at it fresh, maybe use a mirror to see up where you can't see around the bend. Look at the realoem breakout drawing and make sure you can see all bolts are removed that are in the drawing.

                    Keep it slideways!!

there is one small bolt that is very hard to see, seems to me you just simply missed it.

Yep. That was it. After that I just loosened the motor mounts and jacked the tranny up and the pan came out after working it for about five minutes with a hammer and putty knife. Got in a fistfight with the oil pimp putting it back on but it all worked out.

EDIT: I'm not fixing that typo.
