Your video of the event isn't helpful. If it had stayed on the cluster during the event that might have provided a clue.
If the tachometer takes a big drop when the cutout occurs, the DME is loosing timing data from the engine. That can be a bad CPS, bad engine harness , or bad DME. If the tachometer doesn't react, but the econometer drives toward zero, there is a fuel delivery problem.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

My super eta did this whenever I went over half throttle from a dig it would just cut out/jerk violently then continue on like nothing happened. It started to occur less often, but I suspect it was something ignition related as my e30 sucked gas so bad. After I had replaced my spark plugs, spark plug cables, rotor/cap and distributor never happened again.
