    88'325 325i and 325e electical differences?

I have what I think is an 88 325. What are the electrical differences between the 3? Cps the same? Dme is different but will it work? Trying to diagnose a no start no spark/fuel issue and have a running i car. I'm about to start swapping parts.

The CPS is the same, but the DME is different. Though it will probably start the engine.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

yeah, the B25 DME will start and run the '88 seta engine. just don't drive around on it, it's like having no redline. :p

i have an 88 seta thats converted to "i." ive run it on an 87 153 ecu and 173 and the original seta 154.. it runs on all.. the 173 however has the worst idle... low and unsteady. the 153 seems to be better at idle but i been running the seta 154 the last few days to see if the idle is better.. either way, your car will start and run w/o blowing up on any of these ecu's.. and before i did the swap to "i," it started (didnt drive it) on the 153 and 173 just fine.. should be no problem.
          Now with 2.7i power!!!
