    M50 Injectors = No start?

Hey all. Curious about what happened and what options may be available. Just finished a head swap on my 2.7i. I had the opportunity to get a 885 head, a Bimmerhead regrind cam, and a set of M50 injectors (415's).

Roll forward to last week. I get the M50 injectors installed, head on, and all connections made to the motor. No start. Ok, I swapped. The CTS and temp gauge sensors. Still no start. (This is the point where you start second guessing everything you did. TPS? Timing belt? Grounds?) If one were to turn the key with the throttle completely open, it tries. Throttle closed sounds like it's struggling.

To me it felt like it was too rich. That and the wet plugs that came out! I pulled the injector rail, swapped injectors back to 715's that I used before, and it starts first try!

So the questions is: Do M50 injectors work with a stock-ish M20? I thought so. Next question: What can I do with these injectors? Flow testing and cleaned comes to mind.

    Your thoughts?

Yes, I had the battery disconnected for about a week during the head r&r. That should have reset the DME.

As far as flow goes, the info I have states that @ 3 Bar, the 415's are 16.76#, 176.1cc/min. Sound right?
