    Did I fry my ecu??

I think I destroyed my ecu. I was following my manual's directions for checking the crank position and speed sensors, but in so doing I checked resistance through the wiring harness, not on the sensor side of the connection....the connector was broke from some PO in the past, it was a soldered mess. I got nothing from my multimeter, and reconnected it all the way it was. Now, I have no spark and the starter isn't moving, not even when I jumper pins 11 and 14 on the diagnostic port. Got fuel, though. Would anyone agree that the ecu is dead or dying?

Starter would click even without the ecu. Try doing a continuity test through some of those wires.

Checking resistance through the harness won't have caused any damage. And the DME has nothing to do with the starter. You have other problems.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
