    Stroker question

So, I've been doing some reading and haven't gotten a very solid answer to my question. (possibly I fail at searching, but I'd like to think not)

I am bolting on an 885 head to a B27 block. My understanding is that I can use the eta pistons that I currently have with the 885 head and achieve low compression. This would be perfect as I am turbo'ing it.

Is this correct? Or will I need super eta Pistons?

    Appreciate the info in advance!

yep, 885 with regular eta (b27) bottom end is a low comp engine best for FI.

SETA would be a bit better for NA but since thats not what you after don't worry

Just curious. If I swap the I head onto my e bottom. Planing on a turbo in the future but not anytime soon. Could I still run this setup? What are the draw backs on a low comp n/a?

You'll be able to run it indefinitely.

it will run fine just less than optimal. many people are happy with the mod but they typically started with an ETA so it is hard to do any worse

you lose efficiency and performance compared to a higher CR engine and you cant run as big a cam without losing bottom end torque.
