    Fuel rail removal help

I need to replace the injectors, seems pretty straightforward. However, the electrical connectors are in a long plastic case that runs the length of the engine. How do I separate that without pulling the intake? My other E30 didn't have this.

    Fuel rail removal help

Unplug that from the driver side down below. Then pop it off and slide it out. You can easily unclip it from the top of the injectors after it's unbolted. Then you can maneuver the fuel rail and injectors all together by pulling them out towards the front of the car. Removing fuel pressure regulator is required but it's totally doable without removing intake manifold

Taking the valve cover off will give you quite a bit more room to work as well.

Yes, don't bother with the clips, just pull up on each connector. It will pop off.

        True, but not necessary.
