    Snap Crackle Bog!

    Greetings!

Just bought my 325i Vert a few weeks ago and changed the water pump, belts, etc... and rotor button but not dist cap. Drove fine for about a week and when I went to drive it tonight I accelerated and it bogged down and jumped like a mule. Stopped and popped the hood and there was a spark jumping from the top bolt of the distributor cap to the first wire. Do you think the cap or the wires are bad or both? Limped back home and still is the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Replace the distributor cap with a new OE/OEM part. You almost certainly also need to replace the ignition wires.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks! Is a Bosche or Brembi OK for replacement? They are half the price of BMW? Good source for wires?

Love this car! I think I am addicted :)

Bosch is OEM, Brembi is good, but not the best.
