    Hose ID help

    Hey all,

Just wanted some help identifying a couple of hoses and what their function is. I've been trying to track down all the coolant leaks I can on this car, but theres still some loss.

This hose is just like a pressure release hose from the coolant reservoir right? Should it just be loose like this? or does it need to be attached to something?

And I know it's a crappy picture, but this hose at the back of the engine bay feeding into the motor is the coolant feed line? or is it the return line... Either way, it's in rough shape and needs to be replaced. Just need to make sure I'm getting the right thing.

There should be a slot in the fender where that first hose fits into

Lright so it is just a loose hose for pressure release then. good. It was hanging in the engine bay, so I'll track down the slot for it.

Its for coolant overflow, when you overfill it or over heat etc.

What about that other one going into the head? Is that the thermostat housing to head hose? or does it come from somewhere else?

The hose to the back of the head goes to the heater core.

Hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like the big 'tee' hose that feeds from the
t- stat into the heater, but tees off to the reservoir as well. If that's a cover we're
seeing in the pic, and not the hose itself...
