Doing headgasket soon, what other "while you're in there" things should I try to do?

Is it possible to order a roll of fuel injector hose to cut up my self to size and install? What size/spec would I need?

I think its 5/16 or 8mm, be sure to get fuel injection line, not just fuel line. Its easy to cut and change yourself.
