I am replacing the headgasket on an m20b25 and I want to buy a tap to chase the threads but I can't find the specs on the bolts--can someone who has done this work point me to the right tap to buy?

That would be an M10x1.5 which happens to be the same as for the lollipops. There is a particular tap for chasing which I presume has a flat bottom for blind holes and Granger has them for about $5Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch.
