    Crankshaft pully snapped?!

Trying to do a water pump and timing belt change.

I can't believe this, but my pulley puller snapped the crankshaft pulley, not once, but twice.

So much for it just pulling off.....

HOW DO I GET THIS OFF??

Most take some PB blaster and let soak for a bit. The take a hard rubber mallet and give it a thunk towards the engine which breaks the grim and being stuck then they just kind of wobble em off.

      Already did this.

I think I may have a "two piece crankshaft" as Bentley describes it.

I tried the starter trick, to no avail.

It's a tight fit but you don't have to remove the crank hub to change the timing belt, just the 6 13mm bolts and the pulley.

Found a pulley an hour away. Going to get it now.

I still have no idea how to get the old one off.

On my way back with pulley.

Since old pulley is fubar'ed hopefully a bfh will get it off.

Been soaking with pb since the start. For about 18 hrs now. 5 or 6 times.
