Intake Question

Hey everyone,

My car started life as a 318 but had an M20 swapped into it. Because the engine bay was designed to fit the old 4 cylinder, the mounts for the airbox don't line up with the m20 airbox, so it is currently just hanging off the manifold. I'd rather not leave it as is, so I was wondering what the consensus is on swapping in a short ram cone intake or the like. Was thinking maybe this: http://www.signaturemotoring.com/.

I would fabricate something or else buy an aftermarket type filter (K&N type thing) and roll with that.

OK; I shot KA motors a PM, but is he still active? If not, where could I buy one of those? Did some looking around and can't seem to find a website

Pretty sure he's still active. he's been working on a turbo M30 for a while now.

I bought a kamotors cai to replace the air box on my 2.7i as I couldn't source an I box only my E and I'm happy with it. Looks nice and clean and sounds good. No idea of any gains.

like nando said, signature motoring is just spam, i used to rock a kamotors intake, i loved it, big sound of oomph if you dont install the air duct hose at the front of it, either way i enjoyed it, more than my SRI i had previously, i dont know what gains there was but give it a go, you wont regret it especially for the sound
