Yeah its just a bottle style, they have an 18" version as well with the 2.5" opening. The body portion is 4".

18" will be more effective than 12", a body bigger than 4" will be more effective as well but then the ground clearance becomes a issue on even a moderately lowered car. some even prefer an actual straight through muffler as a resonator so in effect they have two mufflers again ground clearance.....
