    Ladies/Gentleman, head gasket oil leak?

So I am replacing my catalytic converter and I notice some oil on the engine. Kinda bummed about it given that I replaced the oil pan gasket a little while ago. Unfortunately, I spotted where the oil was coming from. (Pics below.)

It's an '86 325e with 139,000 miles. Oil seems to be coming from cylinders 3 and 4. I use Castrol High mileage 20w50. No oil in coolant. Car is running fine, although the temperature gauge needle seems to be slightly higher in the last 2000 miles... although not past the halfway mark really.

What do I do? Keep an eye on it? Stop driving? Take it to a shop immediately? Cry? Drink beer? It's my daily driver.

Also, *gentlemen. Stupid giant hands and tiny phone.

I'd bet it's coming from higher up.

As in, the valve cover, not God, that is...

If it is you are getting a big, inappropriate hug!
