    i wouldn't worry about the noise unless things are actually changing
    89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

      It doesn't sound like a happy motor. And it doesn't feel like a happy motor. Directly after the last adjustment it sounded sooooo smooth and drove much much better/smoother. Better response. Then its like it lost its adjustment and got worse.

        if it hasn't lost its adjustment then perhaps you are barking up the wrong tree?

          Yea, perhaps. I'll hopefully know for sure this weekend when I get a chance to take it apart again.

          Any idea what else could cause this?
