    Bent valve

So I have a 1987 325e and the timing belt recently shit on me and I bent a valve. I was looking at my options to fixing it or as to swapping in a new motor bc high mileage and low power on the eta. So I was looking for some advice and some prices on some swaps or just fixing the eta. No I will not sell her I'm trying to fix her bc she's my baby and I'm not just going to buy a new e30. I was thinking m50 or m20b25 swap or just fixing the valves. Any advice or opinions would be lovely.

Look into putting and i top end on the e bottom end
Cheap stroker but you may have to replace a piston

get a spare head and swap it if the pistons are still good and the bores look nice

You see I was planning on doing that but that's a lot of part gathering and I don't really have time on my side. I did just find a m20b25 though. What else would I need besides a new ECU and tachometer?

If you wanted to go the 25 route you will need the engine and all the accessories, the harness too. But you could get away with just taking the head off the 2.5 and doing the 2.7i build like mentioned above.
