Does anyone know a close estimate on the HP number on a euro spec M20 compared to a US spec one? Cant find a very good answer. Also is there a market for the engine here in the states or is not worth someones time and effort?

The high compression engines were rated at 1 higher hp and a couple more pounds of torque but it was at a lower rpm I believe.
They say 1 point of compression is a 3% increase in power so US m20 8.8:1 and Europe 9.7:1 is a hair under 3% additional power. Maybe noticeable but not much difference

I'm more than satisfied with my cam'd and ported 731 head build, if that's what you're referring to. If you have the dogleg trans, i bet alot of people would be interested in that.sigpicComment

Plus the b23 had aluminum motor mount arms, the 2 piece trans housing, lightened flywheel, better looking valve cover(imo). Yea you'd be able to sell it.sigpicComment
