    M20 water pump

    Hello,

    I'm looking forward if its possible to put an electric water pump into my turbo m20

    Is there any pros/cons ?

    How it can be done ?

    Electric water pump is an electric water pump, if you need to ask if you need one..... then you don't need one. So in your case I wouldn't sweat it.

    The only time I've seen it done is for a little extra clearance in the nose.

      on a serious note i have no idea if it has been or can be done but im interested as to why

        Ha! that as well..

        M20/2002 ... with an electric water pump and a 323i trans, the M20 is a no-cut swap. I know a gentleman who has done three this way so far.

          Curious who makes electric water pumps for the m20? I never knew they existed until I read the spec sheet for that blue 900hp m20 monster speed hunters covered and it was called out.

              No off-the-shelf kit exists. Not to difficult to put together.

                My question would be why? The standard non electric pump works just fine. Seems a lot of fuss and bother to me.

                  maybe for 90% of the time, but in extreme conditions, race applications, or relocation of the radiator and more gpm is needed is when it comes into play.
