    Intake and Out gas help

    Background:
So, A little new to this but I bought an 92 Vert e30 2.5l, 3.73 LSD, Love it, I have not a lot of experience, but I am doing a whole car overhaul, rims and tires, BAV Springs, font suspension and oil pan was first, It runs great. Next is Clutch, Rear seal, guibo and driveline bearing, and rear suspension, then interior...etc, Cost is a factor, but I do want to buy at least reasonable quality parts.
I am putting a chip in it (dinan)

    So My actual Questions:
I want it to sound awesome. Dropped Honda being on one side of the sound spectrum, and a throaty v12 Jag being on the other, I want to swing as far as possible to the Jag side.
I have been told to not bother with Headers, because there is no real power gain. Any one know about possible HP Gains? I would do Irelands for $275 (I don't want to risk eBay's)
And I am thinking cat back magna flow
    ANY COMMENTS HERE?
I can't figure out what to do for the intake?
the one I see most is BAV AUTO for $150.00 or K&N 57-0070 for $106 Any idea of HP gains?
    ANY COMMENTS HERE?
Any other good options for similar pricing?

Firstly, next time try searching. All of this has been discussed multiple times. That being said I will give you a simplified explanation, if you want more info do some searching. As far a HP gains, without major head work any gains will be small. As for headers and intakes, there will be effectively no gains. Almost all of the restriction in the M20 is in the head, so increasing flow on either side of the head does basically nothing. That being said, an M20 with headers, a good catback, and an intake sounds AWESOME. If you want the most bang for your buck for HP, that would be a chip. A good chip will give some reasonable gains, but will make it so you actually have to run premium gas as most will not run on lower grades.

Nitrous is fun and easy to install. I run 125 shot in my 88 vert among other upgrades.
