Having a strange problem need help ?!

Whatsup r3v im having a strange problem w my e30 ibe had for a while but it comes and goes. As im driving my car randomly stalls out usually second gear, but sometimes in neautral, and when this happens the anti lock light turns on and i cant start my car right away it will take about 4 clicks. I will be driving and the car just dies and jerks and that light comes in mahbe a bad sensor? Im not good with the abs department, it starts up fine and alternator is good so what could it be?

A vacuum leak is very common on our cars and can make your idle very poor leading to stalling. ABS system is just unhappy but highly unlikely to be the cause.

I would have an intake smoke test performed and fix all your vacuum leaks. That will ensure a powerful, well running, efficient motor.

Other things that come to mind are cleaning the ICV with brake cleaner so that its not stuck. And double check your TPS sensor is working.

Look this stuff up in the Bentley manual and read up if not familiar.
