Schmiedmann head gasket?

Has anyone used it? Pelican is out of Elring kits, don't want VR, genuine BMW is too expensive. Could also buy a VR kit, but use a Goetze head gasket. Looks like ECS still has them in stock.

Nevermind. Ordered Elring from Bimmerheads. Still curious, though.
