    Engine Oil Light... Short or??

I was driving in some pretty heavy PNW rain the other day and the engine oil light came on... I pulled over, checked the oil- Good; Looked in the valve cover- good, checked under the car- good.

I ran for another 30 mins or so, car ran absolutely fine.

At this point I am thinking sensor, or wiring. I pulled out the boot that covers to the connector, and there was some bare wire. I spliced in a new connector. Light still on.

I just replaced the sensor. Light still on.

The light turns on pre- start, at start and with throttle; always on. No flicker, notta

Car is running fine after startup (I am flashing an ICV code)... But idles great and pulls hard.

Is there another electrical connector prone to wear that I can check?

Which oil light? Low pressure in the cluster or low level in the active check control panel?
