    valve stem seal woes

Are there any tricks for getting these on any easier? I put a bit of oil on the rubber and I'm using a 7/16 deep socket as it seems to fit a bit better then the 11mm that the bentley suggests.

Tap them on with a soft faced hammer. Should just pop on. Make sure to use the little plastic caps over the end of the valve when re-installing the valves.

Make sure you use the installation sleeves or the seals are going to get cut by the valve grooves.

Thanks for the replys, I'm down to my last 5, and don't have any extras. I can't imagine anyone installing a full set without mauling up a few. Just one went "pop" and went right on. I need to PM Mr325 and ask what the secret is. Next time I won't be a cheap ass and just send it out for a rebuild.

You should be able to oil them and push them in by hand. 8)
