Where is the dam plug for the coolant reservoir. Is it part of the engine harness or is it part of the body harness?

Body harness. It is only for the check panel light between the sun visors. The ECU does not need it to run the engine. The connector should naturally be somewhere by the coolant reservoir.

Sorry to be Captain Obvious here - But when you did your swap did you upgrade to the late model cooling system setup with the expansion tank on the left side instead of on the right side? The connector will be on the right side for a 1986 car.
