The harmonic dampener is that big gear that the six bolts go into? I used a crowbar after lots of rubber malleting and it came off. Only sketchy part of the job! Legit did half of the job through the grill haha it's really convenient for a lot of the timing belt job! I think I did everything right! Tomorrow is the big day to see if my 30 starts up!!
The thread title intrigued me. Trick no work with AC condenser in place though. Le sigh. I'll have to continue to find the bolt heads blindly, yet enjoy the frigid air from the AC vents after the timing belt job is done.

The ac condensor blocks the grill? maybe thats why my ac doesnt work, there was nothing there for me!
Mine were kinda tight probably some rust bonding, and just for visibility and so you may not have to bend over all the time I kneeled down like a catcher and was able to save my back so many times going through the grill on not just these bolts. Also it's easier to "set" the bolts because you can see straight into them, never had a bolt drop or anything. I might edit the title to "get bolts easier during timing belt job" or something. I feel like this should be in the DIY's because it's very convenient, just have to remove the hood which already will make the job untold amounts easier
