part identification?

    part identification?

    can someone maybe give me some ideas as to what this part is in the fuel hose from the pump? maybe a filter? i am talking about the fitting looking thing that can be held with wrench.

      check valve is a good idea, if i get chance today ill take it apart today and see if i can tell what it is.

        i had a chance to take it apart and check it out it is a check valve, can someone tell me why the car may need a check valve?

          Saw that check valve for sale on UK ebay. The original check valve with the fuel pump is probably bad and letting pressure bleed down when PO shut off the car. Faulty check valve makes for long cranking to build pressure back up when you turn off the car.
