Should be getting my 323i head in a few weeks and I'm debating what to do about the valve springs. I know they are stronger single springs, should I think about switching to 325i dual springs? That will add valvetrain weight when the goal is to lighten that up correct? The motor probably wont see much past 6k very often.

I think it depends on what cam you are using. if you are sticking with the 323i cam, then I'd use those springs. if you are putting in an agressive M20 cam (say, a dual pattern shrick or catcams), then go for the i springs for sure. -
Okay, cause I do have that catcams 284 coming in sometime. I will have to see if I can find another set in the meantime I suppose.Old and improved:
