Switched from the stock injectors to 19lb injectors with the Miller MAF conversion. To my understanding the MPG meter on the IC and in the OBC is calculated based on time the injectors cycle open? And maybe more info. Does anyone know how the change in flow rate affects the calculation?

How do larger injectors affect the MPG Guage?

I have 19lb injectors as well plus N SSSquid chip and my once mpg readings are different from my calculated mpg using the old fashioned odometer/gal formula so I'd say yes, it effects it but can't say exactly by how muchSeat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. It will depend on the tune and size of injectors as to how much effect it has. The larger the injectors, the less time they have to open so economy gauge is going to read lower.
Mine used to read around 9 at cruise, and now with 19lb it reads more like 6 in the same conditions.Last edited by Hooffenstein HD; 07-30-2015, 06:40 PM.
