Replacing M20B20 L-Jet with newer and better injectors(With link)

Was researching on injectors for my L-jet system when i stumbled upon the link below.

    https://www.drive2.ru/l/288230376152672864/

What's interesting was that the dude replaced the 30 year bosch injectors(that share the same p/n as the M20B20 L-jet injectors) with newer injectors that were similarly spec'ed.

    Original Injectors:
    Bosch 0280150208 133ss \ min, 3bar, 16Om.

    Replacement Injectors:
    Bosch 0280158502 132ss \ min, 3bar, 12Om.

Note that while they are both high impedance, the new injectors still have lower impedance than the original.

Considering how tired and scarce L-jet injectors are getting, would this be a worthwhile upgrade? Judging from the pintle design it should have better atomisation too.

those look like EV6 injectos, but with a EV1 connector. the length is the same, so they should be a direct replacement. as you said, they have better atomisation than the old EV1s.

Great! Should I be bothered by the 4 ohm impedance difference?

dont think so, low impedance injectors are like, 3-4ohm. so those are still high impedance. its likely they are more efficient than the old EV1s, hence the lower impedance.

Great! I'll see if I can get a set and post back on my findings...

Any idea about newer injectors for a Motronic 1.1/1.3 system for an b25?

Options should b aplenty for low impedance EV1 injectors used in Motronic systems, it's us L-Jet guys that have it hard
