    Quick questions from a newbie

    Hello all,

    New to the r3v family. have had my e30's for two years now and finally going to tear into my 325e and make it less of a bore to drive.

    now my question is about estimated power output of my planned setup and any suggestions to make it better.
    So here is the plan...

    M20B25 swap into my eta chassis ( I have sourced a complete engine harness and actually just picked up a 173 dme at a pick and pull)

    planning to do a full regasket job on the engine before it's dropped in ( head gasket, bottom end gasket kit, timing belt, water pump ect.)

    IE 272 regrind cam
    17# injectors?
    no name long tube headers
    dinan chip
    "cold" air intake ( cone filter adapter)

    planning to do some drift events and maybe a few track days with it.

    but I am open to some suggestions on which injectors to use and any other thoughts you guys might have

    the cold air intake is a waste of money.
    I have one and it absolutely has no advantage over the stock airbag.

      yes I agree on that I was just throwing it out there as I already have the kit sitting around

        The car will still lack some until you switch out the e differential. I swapped a stroked m20b25(b29) in for my m20b27 and still use the 2.93 rear, its fun but definitely is missing out of a better gear ratio.

          yeah Im doing the diff also, 3.73 welded or lsd

            I just put a 3.46 torsen diff in my sssquid chipped ETA and it's night and day from stock. I'm in no hurry to complete my 731/1.3 mod

              If you're going to do the gaskets, you might as well give it a light hone and put in new rings and bearings.
