    I use Rotella T6 in the e30 and Rotella 15w40 in the e36 M3....
    1997 Artic Silver M3
    CES GT4094r 651hp/615tq @ 24 psi

        I used to use GTX, but the zddp went down, the price went way up, and I found those
        fu*king dipstick adds really really annoying.

        So I changed.

          GTX isn't synthetic last I checked.

          Zinc aside, I've seen the difference between motors that ran synthetic vs conventional. After 100,000 well maintained miles, one will be clean under the valve cover.
