    Wrong Rad

So I removed my old radiator and went to install my new one....and I must have ordered the wrong one (550mm new one vs 440mm old one). Is there any way I can install the 550mm one in my car without much modification? The car is an 88 325IX touring with AC.

I don't see why it wouldn't? Mine has a little arm that holds the narrower rad. I will just have to extend my coolant hose. they look the EXACT same except for the width of course.

It's quite common to upgrade your radiator.

Okay, I guess I just need another one of those cups the rad sits in and the longer upper rad hose. I just thought I had ordered the wrong one. Thanks for the reassurance.

The top radiator brace shouldnt need to be changed, it just hooks on to the edge. In fact, nothing should need to be changed. Post up some pics or something.

I dont know if they are nessessary. Its just the below cup:

the narrower rads use a bracket that mounts where these little cups go
