    I love having a scan tool for my e30

    i know the stomp test works but having a scan tool that i can sit there and wiggle the coolant temp pigtail and watch it drop to -86 and back up to 56

    Didn't think this was possible without OBD2, or is your car swapped? I'm assuming not since this is in the M20 subforum.

              ill take a short video later of the car running with the scan tool connected, you can watch all the pid's.

                lol i apologize on this thread, i said i would record the live data, welll, long story short i went megasquirt and this doesnt really work anymore

                    Any of the old OBDI and early OBDII systems can do this on an M20 if you have the correct plugs and cards. I know my old OTC set would, as well as my Slightly newer Genysis will as well if I still knew where the adapter/cable was
