28 pin chip in 26 pin ecu?

so on ebay i bought a bavauto chip for 30 bucks (its real) and it claims it fits in a 325es ecu. so I bought it, pulled out the ecu to install the chip, and its 28 pins where as my ecu is only 24 pins. do I just ignore the fact its 28? or do I file a claim on it?

I guess I would see if they will take it back for a refund

yeah, I didnt know anything about the ecu, i just jumped on the deal.

I see do it yourself posts but I dont trust myself, but what ecu has 28 pins? I was researching and I saw that the e21s do.
