Miller WAR chip or standalone system?

Hello everyone,

So i purchased my 4th e30 today, first convertible!
It is a 1993 production so due to the fact most websites only consider the e30 up to 91 that is the year model I usually pick when shopping

So I have short and long term plans with the car, and I want to get the best tuning program that is also cost efficient.

For short term, my ideas are:
-high flow headers
-22lb injectors
-walbro 255 intank fuel pump
-miller MAF conversion
-some sort of semi custom tune... WAR chip?

long term:
-add schrick cams
-racing valve spring
-heavy rocker arms
-ARP studs
-gates racing belt
-port & polish

(one day plan to turbo)

Now my question is... Will the miller WAR chip be customizable enough to handle upgrades like this? I don't want to get one program then have to switch to another down the road. I know megasquirt is a good option.. But how much better would it really be? Ive never custom tuned a car so I'm leaning more towards something a little more simple (WAR). Im not worried if there would be minimal differences in performance, then whatever ill stick to the WAR chip.. But what I don't want to run into is idling, fuel, or cold start issues and so on...

So if you have any advice or know of any other chips similar to the WAR chip then please leave your .02. Also, if anything I listed you have had a bad experience with or know a more cost efficient route please feel free to let me know..

Megasquirt is light years ahead of Motronic. We program them both on a regular basis at the shop.
