So we did timing belt, camshaft seal, and had to replace the crank sprocket because two of the bolts snapped off inside it. Now we are having trouble finding a definitive guide to figuring out the timing before cranking the Jesus bolt back on and putting timing belt back on. Does anyone have a straightforward answer on how to avoid having the pistons touch the valves when putting all this back together? Any guidance would be great. I want to believe it is as easy as lining up the crank sprocket timing mark with its indent and also the cam sprocket timing lines up, putting new belt on, and timing should be fine...

You pretty much have it but I'd use an old belt and a crank holding tool.Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com
