    Another eta stroker question

Okay r3v..... I've searched and searched. Need a straight forward answers.

    I am building a stroker with a

    - 86 2.7 block.
    - 87 325is head with all the intake fuel and all that jazz.

My question is. To fit the 2.5 Pistons on the 2.7 crank. Use the 2.7 rods and the 2.5 Pistons or the 2.5 rods and Pistons. Or should I just use the 2.7 bottom end as is.

Searched for a solid 4hours across all of the forums and the strictlyeta website. But couldn't find any straight forward. With all the "late vs early" stuff. Had my head in a pretzel. So any actual technical help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    #2
most put the 325is on top of the entire ETA bottom end and switch the electronics to 325i stuff, this is the easiest way.

there are other ways that are much more complicated but probably produce a slightly better outcome, read about it here

but note the ETA CR in north america is 9:1 not 10.2/11:1 as it is in Europe but principals are same
