    1987 325e idle issues motronic 1.0 help!!!

Hey guys, I'm having a rough idle issue on my 325e yesterday the car was driving completely perfect and today it's got a rough idle , all vacuum hoses were replaced along with coolant sensors, icv was cleaned, and it feels like it lost power, I think it may be the ignition coil because while the car was running I unplugged 1 spark plug wire at a time individually with no change at all, so I'm thinking maybe the coil is giving a weak spark to the spark plugs, what do you guys think??

I think you have a vacuum leak.

OK so I got home from work, and I immediately started checking to make sure there was spark to every cylinder, there was spark and every cylinder except cylinder 5 which I thought was very odd, so then I went out and bought a set of new spark plug wires in the same thing spark plug number 5 wouldn't fire!!! And the distributor cap and rotor replaced about 5 months ago, I actually took them off to make sure they were good and they were, so wtf is going on with my car?? The only thing I didn't check was the ignition coil, but if the ignition coil was bad wouldn't it not give spark to any plugs?? Help me out guys

late night bump, update so i bought a new distributor and rotor, and im going to use my freinds MSD coil tomorrow hope that does it, could it be the ECU by any chance? is that even possible if spark is getting to all plugs except cylinder #5? has anyone had this problem before?

I fixed the problem, it was a bad distributor, I didn't notice yesterday but it had a small crack on the side with a burnt plastic residue in the middle of it,
