Dear E30ists,
Just backed into the driveway after a fine ride home to see steam rising from under the hood (I was sitting at a light 300 ft from my house 2 seconds before this -- no steam. Thing literally must have let go as I approached my house. Whew.) Opened the hood, and my upper radiator hose is off. I find this curious, but whip out a screwdriver, loosen the clamp, and realize the plastic sleeve/tube/port whatever you'd call it is in the goddamned hose.
(this thing: upper right where the hose connects

Broken off. Before you all yell at me for overtightening the clamp (because that's what I'd be doing if I were reading this ...it's the internet, you know, it can't be helped)-- I swear I haven't touched it since I last did my timing belt at least 4 years ago.
Anyway...
Does that plastic side bit come off the radiator? Can I get one of those somewhere? Do I need to buy the whole fuh-king radiator? Can I sleeve it with some sort of $15 anti-freeze resistant plastic epoxy stuff?
Anyone ever run into this? haha
Thanks
