ETA wont rev past 2k rpm

I have a low mileage 325e that sat for a few years. It wasn't running until I flushed out the gas, replaced the fuel filter. Also changed cap and rotor, distributor and plugs. Now it won't rev past 2k rpm. I replaced the o2 sensor and reference sensor on the bell housing and saw no change. The pin on the flywheel appears to be in tact. The weird thing is when I unplug the reference sensor the car does not die or run any different. When I unplug the speed sensor it dies. The car also has a tough time starting...I need to pump the gas pedal for it to start. Any thoughts?

If it's sat my guess is gummed injectors. They may need to be refreshed but I'd try some fuel additive and see if that helps.
