Traded for an E30 engine but I'm not sure which one.

This is my first post here so go easy on me lol. So I traded for an engine and don't know exactly what it is and some of it's specs and stats so I'm going to ask here. The stamp on the side says 1278 921 335 87. So my initial questions are which engine is it, what is its factory compression ratio and which car is it out of?
For those interested, I plan on boosting it and swapping it into my 1999 Mustang just because of the uniqueness of the build and yes I am aware it will be difficult.

That picture was taken after I took it mostly apart but it has pretty much everything. I just need to replace the parts that broke and get some sort of wiring harness figured out and it'll be ready to put together after some cleaning. I actually traded it for a Forza steering wheel controller
