First of all, the outer ring that snapped off is part of the vibration damper. I removed mine entirely with no ill effects.

The frayed threads are from your flex disc/giubo. That needs to be replaced desperately.

If your center support bearing has shit the bed as well, you probably have worn driveshaft u-joints.

It also appears that the selector seal is leaking.

Or output shaft seal. Might as well replace both seals when you do the guibo.
